On this day of national celebration, we invite the people
of Quebec City to gather and celebrate together our Canadian
heritage, the richness of our history, and pride in our identity.
To highlight our historic milestones, we have planned a vast array
of activities that will also draw attention to our country’s founders and to the natural features that have shaped Canada’s development, such as the St. Lawrence, our national parks, and the fauna and flora. There has never been a better time to honour our past while looking ahead to the future and next year’s celebration marking 150 years of Confederation. A great reason to celebrate and show your Canadian pride!
A great lineup of FREE activities and festivities will be on offer at two great Quebec City locations: Dufferin Terrace and The Plains of Abraham. There will be activities, ceremonies, entertainment, and performances all day long. And be sure to stick around for the nighttime fireworks display!
We’re offering activities that are both fun and good for your health! Why not start off your day with some group exercise?
